We suggest only clicking "I've finished the task" when you are confident that the client is happy with what you have done and no more work is needed or could be suggested. For best results, we recommending following up with your client to ask for confirmation that they are satisfied with the work quality.
To improve your chances of winning regular ongoing work from a client, we recommend waiting until you mark it as "finished" to enable the client to provide their feedback to you.
You do not need to mark a task as finished in order to invoice us and receive fees for work you have completed.
If you are adding tasks on behalf of the client, we recommend that you ensure that they are broken down into individual tasks or time periods (weekly tasks) so that the client has a good breakdown of what is being done.
