As a freelance Virtual Assistant it's important to let your clients know that you're going on holiday / vacation. The Time etc system will help you to do this.
If you are going on holiday we recommend doing the following:
- Go to your Holiday/Vacation calendar under your profile and switch yourself off for receiving new opportunities whilst you're away. (You can then switch yourself back on once you're back).
- Let your account manager know that you will be away and for how long to ensure we don't send you tasks. (You can do this by just raising a ticket through help and support)
- Notify your clients of your upcoming availability and ask if they would like holiday cover (if yes then let us know via help and support)
- Have a think about any frequent tasks you do for your clients which will be affected by you going away
- Prepare some handover notes for the person who will be taking over (If client wants holiday cover)
