Available tasks are your opportunity to read briefs and obtain more work through Time etc.

These tasks can be from trial clients or paid clients!

Trial clients have signed up through our website and get a small amount of task time (usually 1 hour) for free to test us out before deciding to commit to a monthly plan.    You have the power to turn trial clients into fantastic ongoing work by doing a great job on their tasks.

Our best Virtual Assistants turn at least one out of every three trial clients into an ongoing, paying client by doing a great job during their free trial. We ask that all freelance Virtual Assistants commit to converting at least 33% of all trial clients they are sent.

Suggestions to consider when working with trial clients:

  • The speed at which the task is completed
  • Excellent communication and customer service
  • Good quality work

If you know that you will be unable to complete the task in the free hour trial period then notify the client that you will get as much done as possible within the hour and that you will provide a draft/rough overview of all the information you were able to gather.

NOTE: It's free for the client but you will get paid for the work you do.

Paid clients are clients who already pay for a membership. Their tasks might be available for other assistants if:

  • their primary assistant isn't available
  • their primary assistant doesn't have the necessary skills to complete the task
  • the client would like try a new assistant to work with
  • the client is building a team of assistants to work with

How do I accept an available task?

The tasks get sent to the assistants with the right skills for the task.  If you get an email saying that you have been sent an available task you will need to Login to the portal to view it.

To accept you should:

  • Be confident that you can do what the client is asking
  • Start working on the task as soon as possible

Does it go against me if I decline?

No - not at all. We only ask this so that we can make sure we're only sending you the tasks you're interested in and that suit your skills.

What happens next?

Start your work and remember to start your timer beforehand. Once you are done ensure that the time you have logged is correct, your client is satisfied with your work and then complete the task.

You will be alerted via email to stop working when the client's time has been used up:

  • Send the client everything you have been able to achieve in the time you had.
  • If the task isn't complete, then advise how much longer will be needed to finish.

If you accept a task but do not start work on it straightaway the task will be reallocated and you may be blocked from receiving more tasks - sorry!
