Time etc provides a dedicated virtual assistant service to its clients. Clients can get started with Time etc by utilizing a free trial or by purchasing a plan and requesting to be hand-matched. Existing clients usually work with one or two dedicated assistants but they're also able to send individual tasks to an option called "Choose the best person for me". You can read more about tasks and how they're sent here.

It's common when you first start offering your services as a freelance Virtual Assistant through Time etc to receive a high volume of tasks and opportunities to allow you to start building up a client base. However, when you've been offering your services through us for a while and you've started to work with clients as their dedicated assistant you'll notice that the number of opportunities you receive will drop off to allow you to start building up your client relationships and to allow new assistants with no clients the opportunity to pick up tasks and impress clients with their skill set.  In addition to once you've worked with three clients you'll stop being sent new opportunities so that a review of the service you provide through Time etc can take place.

As well as the above, the Time etc system automatically distributes tasks based on factors including client feedback, your skills and the skills needed by clients, your response times, your experience and your availability.

If you're finding yourself receiving fewer new tasks and opportunities it's a great time to use to start building up your current relationships and really getting to know your clients and being proactive in receiving more work from them. You can read about some of our Time etc  success stories from assistants who have done that here.

Another way to receive more work and increase the fees you get paid through Time etc is to set yourself up with a mini-website. It's a free way to promote yourself and may help attract clients and work from outside Time etc.  You can do that here if you're in the UK and here if you're in the US. You can also find the link at the bottom of the My Tasks page and My Fees page.
